Electrician/Panel Builder – ($24-28/hr.)

Chance Rides, LLC is currently seeking an Electrician/Panel Builder to join the team.

Job Duties (include but not limited too):

Layout various electrical panel assemblies and cabinets per engineering direction
Build motor control centers for power distribution and controls (PLC, VFDs, HIMS) to UL 508A & NEC code
Build operator control consoles for operator interface (PBs, pilot lights, displays, etc.) to UL 508A & NEC code
Other duties as assigned

Preferred Skillset:

Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience building panels /cabinets (UL 508A assembly); 5-10 years’ experience as a journeyman electrician a plus
Experience with electrical installation in a final assembly environment (conduit bending, wire pulls, etc.)
Familiar with use of multiple hand tools (drills, rivet guns, air saws, die grinders, taps, dies, etc.)
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and schematics
Strong communication (oral and written) skills
Self-motivated to see a project or problem through to resolution
Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines and on multiple projects
Willingness to submit to and ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
Ability to work 1st shift with overtime as needed
